In 2012, Luis Seabra quit his prestigious role as head winemaker at Niepoort to strike out on his own. After many years working under some of the more renowned winemakers in the world, he felt the time was right to put his energy into a first solo project.
From his high-altitude vineyards in the Douro, he produces both whites and reds that are based on blends of native grape varieties from ancient, co-planted vineyards on a combination of soil types.
