We love the fact this exists. Growing up I (Duncan) had a pair of Reef flip flops with a bottle opener in the sole. No need for it. Never used it. But the flip flops were a million times better because they had a bottle opener incorporated. Opinel have taken this idea & run with it. They’ve looked at their iconic signature blade & determined that the only way to improve it is to add a corkscrew in the handle. It is an absolutely lovely item & super practical to boot - perfect for a picnic in the park. Oh & there is nothing novelty about this (unlike the Reef flip flops which pulled the sole away every time you used the bottle opener). The corkscrew works a treat as does the knife.
