Kicking off wine tasting season with a bang - bold and beautiful wines from Finca Ambrosia in Argentina
Join us on Tuesday 3rd May for an evening of classic Argentinian wines (yes there will be plenty of Malbec), cheese & chat.
Argentina has always been a bit of a troublesome country for us when it comes to choosing wines for the bar. Like many folk, Malbec was a gateway grape for us and helped open up the world of wine beyond what we had been used to. But as Argentinian Malbec became more and more ubiquitous it also became harder and harder to find an example that we felt we could really stand behind at the bar, finding a lot of what we were tasting too 'cookie cutter' or overly commercial and simply aimed at Parker points.
Then we were introduced to Finca Ambrosia. Under the expert stewardship of 'wine director' Daniel Pi - known globally as one of Argentina's top wine makers and wine maker since their first own label vintage in 2011 (although never publicly until now) - these guys are producing some of the finest wines in Argentina today.
Yes there will be Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignons but there will also be wines less synonymous with Argentina to showcase the breadth as well as the quality of the wine scene.
We are selling the tickets in 2's & 4's to maximise the use of the space but if you want a solo ticket just drop us an email & we will get it sorted!
Tickets are £40 per person and limited to 30 people.
All wines will be available to order on the night.
